This is a nice public beach. It's close to deira. Keep in mind this is Dubai and you cannot publicly consume alcohol. Also be aware you should be covered when not in the water. Otherwise this is a great meet-up spot for a picnic.

Great place to launch a boat, however not a good place to take the family for a picnic. People play their music extremely loud, they have no respect for others trying to enjoy the day with their family. Park ranger respond to complaints of the loud music however they take no action to correct the situation. Do Not stay there past 4pm, because when the park employees go home people drive their vehicles next to their picnic area and blast their car stereo, and the music gets even louder.
Great place to swim in the river for fun. There is a large parking lot, boat access, pavilions, bathroom, and a trail head for the McDade Trail. This part of the train takes you beneath the Milford Bridge, which is neat. Really pretty location in the spring, summer, and fall.
This place used to be so peaceful and quite , now it's full of people that have no respect. They Play their loud music. Drinking alcohol on the low. Saw a guy he had bottles of liquor in his charcoal bag. When there's a sign that clearly says no alcohol. This is probably the last time I'll be coming here...
