I expected better things from this location being it's right on the Delaware river. I'll never camp here again, my reason is because of the noise, it's right next to a busy highway can't really enjoy peace and quiet. A lot of little kids running around and screaming at night and in the morning. Literally had kids and dogs running right through the campsite. The campsite was extremely small also especially for the price. You do have service though for internet. Not really my type of campsite won't be coming here again.
Tubing is nice it's slow moving so it's fine for the kids. Camping is a whole other issue. The place is literally on the highway so you will hear constant traffic. No activities, no pool, no baseball field or volleyball or basketball court, really only good for a day trip to go tubing forget camping here unless you fish or sit around all day and absolutely nothing for the kids to do. I had to drive an hour to a local fair just so the kids had something fun to do
I had such a great time while I was Camping here over the Memorial Day Weekend and reuniting and visiting with my Daughter and her Husband whom live nearby In Milford PA. I do a lot of Camping out on Long Island New York where I live which has more of a Maritime feel to it and this was a great treat to experience all the different sights and sounds nestled in the Pocono Mountains and along the Delaware River. I look forward to many more visits to this awesome place. Thank you to all of the wonderful employees for their great hospitality as well!
A small but heavily-utilized campground. Reasonable rates. Nicer sites are near the water, but you have to sign up for their river adventures to rent those. Right near I-84, expect sounds of traffic and trucks engine-braking from time to time. There are more sites across the little creek, they seem to treat them as overflow space but you can ask to go there. It's a little less worn, fewer people around, quieter.
Check in for the campground was extremely easy. Restrooms were what you would expect from a campground. We were tent camping and had a spot that bordered the Delaware. Sites were a reasonable size but if you are planning on having more than one car you may need two sites. The company also owns watercraft so you have the option of doing day trips on the river and the drop off location is not far. The only downside to this location is that it is very close to the highway. I could hear the highway all night and not too mention loud neighbors. I am not sure if there was a curfew but there were speakers playing well past midnight. Might be different for non tent sites as a good amount of the trailers are summer residents.
