Celebration for those who want to celebrate capitalist exceptionalism, and for those who are Teddy Roosevelt trust-busters. This place is beautiful.
Beautiful estate with gilded era summer mansion that was home to the family responsible for conservation as we know it today. I was staggered by their wealth and humbled by their Nobile sense of giving back and helping in whatever way they could.
Really neat place. Friendly guides and beautiful grounds. We took a bunch of children and they gave us a fast tour that kept the kids attention. Thank you!
Very cool and nice historical place in Milford Pennsylvania . Grey Towers mansion, home of Gifford Pinchot, a two time governor of Pennsylvania and early supporter of ecology and started the Forest Service. It is preserved as it was when the family lived there with some outstanding art and antiques. Some of art came Holland. Over all it was a great experience to be at Tower.
This place was my back yard growing up. Lots of great history. Very scenic. Tours are well informed. Check out the old graveyard if you are into that kind of thing.
